How do I pay my bill?
We have two preferred methods of payment. You can prepay for your entire program in January when you receive your prepay letter.
You also have the option of mailing in your payment to Sam's Turf Care. Just send it together with the invoice that we will leave at your door the day the application is applied.
How will I know if you have visited my property?
We will leave an invoice at your door. Your Sam's Turf Care professional will also post one of our lawn signs in your yard near the street.
Why do I have weeds in my lawn when I am in your standard program?
There are many reasons weeds grow in your lawn. Weed control is free for customers in our standard program.
If weeds pop up between applications (lawn applications are generally 4 to 6 weeks apart), please give us a call. We will send a professional to spot-treat your weeds, free of charge. Service calls are always free.
Do I need to call to renew my services every year?
No. We will continue service on your property until you tell us otherwise. We will send you a renewal letter by January detailing your program and any recommendations for the upcoming year.
Why is my summer application more expensive than the others?
The Early Summer Application is actually a combination of the summer fertilizer and grub control. Because you are getting 2 applications, your invoice will be doubled. You can make arrangements to pay for the first half of the bill when you receive your invoice, and pay the remaining balance within 30 days.
Do you use liquid or granular applications?
Most of our lawn applications are granular. There are a few instances when we use liquid products.
Are the applications safe for my pets?
It is very rare that any of our applications will have a negative effect on your pets. In fact, the products we use to control grubs are the same as Advantage, a medication used to control fleas on pets. However, your pets should remain off the lawn until the application products have dried up.
How long should I wait after an application before our family can step on the lawn?
Since most of our applications are granular, you may walk on the lawn (with shoes) immediately. If we apply a liquid product, please remain off the lawn until it is dry. This normally takes 30 to 60 minutes. We will notify you on your application invoice whenever we apply a liquid product.
When is the first application?
The first lawn application of the year is usually applied between February and March.

Do you mow or provide leaf and snow removal?
We do not provide these services at this time. However, we can refer you to mowers, landscapers, and other service providers that perform quality work.
