Application 1 - A granular fertilizer is applied to give your lawn a nice green color after it comes out of winter dormancy. It also contains an herbicide solution to help prevent annual grassy weeds like crabgrass and foxtail from emerging. (Feb 15 - April 30)
Application 2 - Your lawn receives a blanket spray with a liquid weed controller along with granular fertilizer and a second round of pre-emergent. This is to control even more spring and summer weeds like dandelions, clovers, and other broadleaf weeds. (April 1-July 15)
Application 3 & 4 - Our early summer fertilization application involves another granular solution. Any weed growth seen in your yard will also be given a spot treatment. Properties struggling with nutgrass can be treated by our team during this time as well. Granular grub control applications will be performed the same day as the early summer fertilization treatment. This helps keep grubs out of your lawn all season long! (June 1-July 31)
Application 5 - This late-summer insecticide application helps control surface-feeding insects like sod webworms, ants, fleas, and ticks. Weeds and nutgrass growth will also be spot treated with our liquid herbicide. (July 15 - Sept 15)
Application 6 - The hot summer weather is tough on your grass. Our fall granular fertilizer helps rebuild your turf and make it strong enough to withstand the upcoming cooler temperatures. We also spot treat for broadleaf weeds and nutgrass. (Sept 1 - Nov 15)
Application 7 - As your lawn prepares to go into winter dormancy, it's important that it has enough nourishment to survive until spring. We use a granular fertilizer that will build up your lawn's food reserve so it continues to stay healthy even in freezing temperatures. This final application also ensures your grass will green up earlier in spring with better color and deeper roots. (Oct 1 - Dec 15)
